The Gators turns THREE...

OK OK I know I am more than a little late with posting about the birthday event... I wanted to get this done sooner but what with my sisters RL visit and then the cold to end all colds I just haven't felt right until now!

We started with a loud concert, something to wake up the swamp... Boomer Longspring and his SL Tribute Group High Octane Tributes, brought KISS to the Gators...
They gave Rock 'n' Roll to us! They opened our Birthday Weekend Festivities with a HUGE bang or two and started the party how we meant to go on...
At the same time we were running a hunt featuring 20 prizes from some awesome designers! The hunt ran all weekend and so we had lots of random people touching poop all over the sim.

Saturday Night's festivities were the main event of the weekend, and it was today that we pulled out all of the stops...
We were holding a fund-raising event for the Anxiety & Depression Association of America (ADAA) - an event that everyone felt was close to their hearts as a lot of people in SL seem to suffer from some sort of issue.
The day started with a Skirmish in the Swamp - a fighting championship...
It started with eight fighters - Sussie, Solde, Kris, Chopper, Dizzy, Rick, Dolly and Hell - but after a few beatings were given and some very close fights took place, the chance for the title was given to Hell and Rick...
Rick - aka Blades Sweetwater - was victorious... After a very close fight!
We had time for one more fight of epic proportions...
The last man standing battle took place with all 8 fighters re-entering the ring... Chopper was victorious in this case! Maybe it was because he put his pants back on?!
After all that fighting it was time to get into the dancing spirit... We had not one but THREE awesome live singers take to the little stage outside the fighting arena...
Moon Spark graced the stage first - as a long time friend for the Gators MC it was great to have her there with us, she's performed for us at a lot of our events and was even there at the opening, so it was great to have her.
Next up was ML. He took the concert in a bit of a heavier direction and brought some loud rock to the proceedings...
We finished up the evenings performances with the lovely Shaye Dezno. Shaye drew in such a large crowd, she almost took the sim down but it was such a great finish to a great party.
Loads of money was raised for the charity - I will talk about that in the next post as I have proof of donation to share - and although we were kept busy it was a damn good evening!!

The last day of our public festivities saw a Battle of the Sexes take over the Gator Swamp.
We had mud wrestling, a poker run, an obstacle course and paint-balling, as well as a battle of the sexes in a DJ battle between HellBone and Solde.
As it turned out, the boys won the battle, but that's only because we let them win!!!

Thank you so much to everyone that participated in the Gators MC Birthday event - either as a performer or as a hunt sponsor.
